If you were to come and visit us, this would be your bedroom. I really like this room. It gets wonderful morning sun that just breathes life into it. It took many rearrangements of the furniture to finally get it to where I am satisfied. I think it is very cozy for our guests.

Doesn't the pretty quilt and shams just make you want to curl up and take a nap? The dolls are all from one grandmother and the vintage hats are from my other grammy and great aunt. I HAD to infuse purple or lilac into this room somewhere, since it's my favorite color.

The vanity is my favorite piece. It belonged to my great aunt. I use it to get ready every day, so it's also functional. Both the chair and the dressing bench match it. I recovered the bench but not the chair yet. The print of violets on the wall is from my grandmother as well as the eyelet table scarf.

We removed the doors from the closet and I had my doll collection in there. Now it houses my vintage hat collection. They are so fun to look at. I found the two vintage Samsonite suitcases at a flea market for $3 for both! The prints on the wall here are all new.
