Here is our living room, the place where we spend most of our time when we are home. This is the place we watch TV and DVD's, play Xbox, karaoke, sit in front of the fire, use the laptop, eat, sleep and relax.

We purchased new furniture in 2005.  It was much bigger than we thought it would be!  Very cushy and spacious.  LOTS of pillows!  Ben had to build new CD/DVD storage which now goes from floor to ceiling.  The new tables have wicker baskets for storage.

The walls of this room used to be brown paneling. We did a faux finish technique and now the walls are a warm, buttery yellow. Ben made the shelves you see here out of the same molding around the room.  We added the tea cart as a table and the area rug.
